What is a sauna tent?

A real sauna in tent form: an insulated three-layer fabric around a wood-fired stove with a chimney. Hott Sauna makes two models, Gnistan for 2–5 people and Flamman for 4–8, with Swedish design built for the Nordic climate.

Questions about sauna tents and Hott Spot

Does a sauna tent get as hot as a regular sauna?

Yes. A wood-fired sauna tent from Hott Sauna reaches 90 degrees in 10–15 minutes (Gnistan) or 20–25 minutes (Flamman) and has a maximum temperature around 110 degrees. You pour water on the stove's stones and get true löyly, just like in a built sauna.

Does a sauna tent work in winter?

Yes. The fabric has three insulating layers and holds the heat even in severe cold. Customers have used the tents at minus 30, and heating time depends more on how you stoke the fire than on the outdoor temperature.

Do I need to download an app?

No. Hott Spot opens right in your phone’s browser, with no app and no account.

Which phones work?

All recent iPhones and most Android phones with Google ARCore support. Use Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android.

Why won’t AR start?

Instagram and Facebook open links in their own browser, where AR is often blocked. Open the page in Safari or Chrome. On a computer, scan the QR code with your phone.

How accurate is the size?

The tent is shown at 1:1 scale with the real dimensions. Your phone’s wide-angle camera can make it look slightly smaller, so stand next to it and compare.

What if the sauna doesn’t fit?

You always have 60 days’ returns.
