How does a sauna tent work?
A sauna tent is heated with a wood-burning stove and retains heat efficiently thanks to insulated walls. It provides the same sauna experience as a traditional sauna, but at a much lower price.
Why should I choose a sauna tent from Hott Sauna?
Hott Sauna is for those who want a sauna tent that actually lasts. Our tent is designed to withstand tough Nordic conditions, with an extra insulated fabric that really retains heat, even in subzero temperatures. The seams are reinforced where wear is greatest, and corners and attachments have been given special care to endure regular use for many years to come.
Our wood-fired stove, The Beast, is built to perform. It has a robust protective cover that makes it durable to transport and comfortable to sauna with. Smart airflow and a built-in spark trap system provide efficient combustion, safe use, and quick heating to sauna temperature.
Both the tent and the stove are packed in real carrying bags with sturdy handles and backpack straps. This makes it easy to bring the sauna to places where the experience is best - by a lake, in the forest, or in the mountains.
We have invested time and effort in developing a solution that not only looks good but also works in practice. A sauna tent built to be used, again and again.
Does a sauna tent work in winter?
Yes, our sauna tents are built for the Nordic winter climate and can withstand cold down to -30°C (-22°F)
How quickly does it get warm?
The sauna tent reaches sauna temperature (75-80°C) in 15–25 minutes and can reach temperatures over 100 degrees.
Do I need a building permit?
No, sauna tents do not require a building permit.
Do I have to pack up the tent after each use?
No, you can leave the sauna tent set up for longer periods, but we recommend packing it up if it will be left unattended for a long time or if the weather is windy or wet.
Is there a fire risk with sauna tents?
Yes, there is always a fire risk when handling fire.
But to minimize the risk of fire, our stoves are equipped with a Spark Trap system that catches sparks before they reach the chimney, reducing the risk that hot particles and embers leave the stove and risk igniting the surroundings.
For sauna bathing to be safe, it is important to keep a safe distance from the stove and chimney. The stove should always be used under supervision.
If you follow the safety advice, you can enjoy the warmth – safely and securely.
What is included in a sauna kit?
The kit includes a sauna tent, a wood-burning stove, and weather protection. The difference lies in the amount of accessories. For a complete sauna experience, we recommend our Max kit.
How long does it take to receive my order?
For deliveries within Sweden, it usually takes 2 to 4 business days, so if you order on a Monday, you can be ready to sauna by the weekend.
International deliveries typically take between 4 to 6 days, depending on your location. You will receive an update with all delivery details as soon as your order is on its way. 🔥
How much does shipping cost?
All complete sauna kits are shipped free of charge within Sweden and the EU.
Regular orders cost 59 SEK for trackable shipping to a pickup point.
