How to properly pack away your sauna tent.

With a few simple steps, you can easily pack up your sauna tent and prepare it for the next adventure. It may feel tricky the first time, but with our tips, it quickly becomes an easy routine.

1. Let the tent and stove cool down completely

"Before you start the dismantling, make sure that both the tent and the stove have completely cooled down. The sauna may be hot, but safety always comes first!"

2. Remove accessories

✔ Remove the stove, sauna stones, thermometer, and other accessories.

✔ Pack each part separately to avoid damage during transport.

3. Clean and dry the tent

To keep your sauna tent in top condition for the next use, it is important to clean and dry it properly:

✔ Wipe off the inside and outside with a dry cloth to remove any moisture. If necessary, use a lightly dampened cloth to remove dirt or soot.

✔ Air the tent by leaving it open for a few hours after use. This reduces the risk of mold and bad odors.

✔ Clean the stove and chimney – empty the ashes and wipe off soot from the surfaces.

✔ Let the tent dry completely before packing it away to avoid odor and mold formation. If you must pack the tent damp for transport, make sure to dry it out as soon as you get home before storing it away.

4. Fold the tent

✔ Loosen the tent pegs and gently pull them up from the ground.

✔ Pack the tent according to the instructions and make sure it becomes as compact as possible without unnecessary creases that could damage the material.

5. Pack up the tent

✔ Place the tent in the accompanying storage bag along with the tent pegs and accessories.

✔ Double-check that nothing is left behind – leave only your sweat beads, footprints, and nothing else!

6. Store properly

To extend the lifespan of the tent:

✔ Store it dry and cool.

✔ Avoid damp environments that can lead to mold or odor problems.
